PAREIDOLIA

PAREIDOLIA
How our brain interprets layers of natural forms is unique to each of us. The octopus morphs into the shape of a butterfly wing - representing our creative side in full color (alive & being fully present). The expelled ink takes on the shape of the opposite wing - representing our logical side in geometric black and white (traces of memory & wisdom). Together they capture nature’s lesson of shapeshifting & adaptation - reminding us that in moments of unknowing, we can find both guidance and comfort in the balance between instinct & reason.
Dimensions: 94” x 47” x 2” in solid maple (separate panels are 47" x 47")
